About the District
Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 105 (“the District”) is a political subdivision of the State of Texas created and operating under the Texas Water Code. The District provides water, sanitary sewer, and drainage services to residents within its boundaries in Harris County, Texas.

Under Texas Water Code § 49.452, sellers of real property located within the District are required to provide the buyer with a written notice prior to execution of a binding contract of sale. The District’s official Notice to Purchaser forms are provided below.

Director Qualifications
To be qualified to serve as a director, a person must be at least 18 years old, a resident citizen of the State of Texas, and either own land subject to taxation in the District or be a qualified voter within the District.
Candidacy Filing
To run for election to the District’s Board of Directors, a person must file an application for a place on the ballot with the Secretary of the Board of Directors or the Secretary’s designated agent, by mail, electronic mail, fax, or in person. An application may be downloaded from the Texas Secretary of State at sos.state.tx.us (Form 2-49).

2026 Director Election
The Board approved an order calling a director election at its January 27, 2026 meeting. At its February 24, 2026 meeting, the Board found that only incumbent candidates had filed for the seats expiring May 2026 and approved an order cancelling the election. Carol Diller and Clay Brandenburg continue to serve as Directors with terms expiring May 2030.
